Kennedy–Krieger (Practicum in the Pevsner lab: bioinformatics
The fellow will perform bioinformatics research involving the analysis of
genes, proteins, and/or genomes. Topics include the following: [1] Perform
gene expression data analysis. [2] Learn about on-line bioinformatics
databases such as NCBI's GenBank. Depending on experience, develop a
novel data visualization tool for GenBank data. [3] Gain an overview of
human disease databases; depending on experience, design and
implement a new one.
