DHSI faculty member Dr. Ayse Gurses has won an Early Career Award from the Federation of Associations in Behavioral and Brain Sciences (FABBS) Foundation for major research contributions to the sciences of mind, brain, and behavior. She was nominated for the award by the leadership of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
The FABBS Foundation was formed to advance the public's understanding of the sciences of mind, brain, and behavior. Its sister organization, FABBS, conducts advocacy on behalf of twenty-two scientific societies in Washington, DC, including HFES.
