AMIA’s (American Medical Informatics Association) Board of Directors election results were announced at the State of the Association meeting held during the AMIA 2020 Virtual Annual Symposium that took place from November 14-18, 2020.

         

Neha Verma, a last-year PhD student in the HSI program, is CEO of the non-profit Intelehealth telehealth program, which was just featured as one of the top 15 innovators for COVID response by The World Economic Forum COVID Action Platform, UpLink.

Bhagyashree (Disha) Maity and her classmates from the Whiting School of Engineering created a novel baby bottle to help babies alternate more easily between breastfeeding and bottle feeding. They won 2nd place and $3000 during the 2020 JHU Business Plan Competition.  https://bpc.jhu.edu/
