Procedures and Deadlines for Program Completion

Graduation paperwork and Capstone deadlines for program completion:

For those of you nearing the completion of your degree requirements, including the capstone if required in your program, please note the following options for having your degree voted on by the MA/PhD committee.

 

Deadlines for Online Applied Students:

All graduation completion paperwork including the capstone is due to Informatics by October 25th for the November degree vote.

All graduation completion paperwork including the capstone is due to Informatics by March 25th for the April degree vote.

All graduation completion paperwork including the capstone is due to Informatics by June 25th for the July degree vote.

Note: The School of Medicine has only one Commencement Ceremony each May and students who wish to participate would need to have their degree voted on by April. If requirements are not met by the April degree vote, students will have to wait to attend the Commencement Ceremony in May of the following year.

All graduation completion paperwork including the capstone is due to Informatics by August 25th for the November degree vote.

Note: The School of Medicine has only one Commencement Ceremony each May so students who wish to participate need to wait until the May following their degree voting.

Deadlines for On-Campus 2yr Research Students:

All graduation completion paperwork including the thesis submission to the library is due to Informatics by June 25th for the July degree vote.

All graduation completion paperwork including the thesis submission to the library is due to Informatics by August 25th for the November degree vote.
